Term 2 Week 7
This lesson we learned to create interactive rollover images for use on menu bars . I used Paint Shop Pro to create a small button sized image reading "Home", which I then duplicated. On the duplicated I put in an indented shadow border. In Dreamweaver I set up the rollover images so that when the button was scrolled over, the duplicated image loads and gives the impression the button has actually been pressed.

Term 2 Week 6
This week we continued working on the websites and we learned how to download and uncompress our own applets for our own websites. We were given another applet that put an animated scrolling section of text on to my homepage.
We added navigation bars at the bottom of the page to make navigation of the website easier. We also were shown how to give our images on Dreamweaver "Alt" tags so they could still be identified if the actual image does not load.

Term 2 Week 5
Today we looked at a programme called Xara3D, which can be used for creating 3D animated logos for websites. We also learnt about the animated .gif file type, like that created by Xara3D. I made an animated version of The BRIT School logo for my website, and I also experimented with some other logos.
Then we learnt about Java Applets and how to put them onto our website. I then used a pre-downloaded applet to put the date and time on my website.

Term 2 Week 3
This week we looked at the programme Macromedia Dreamweaver, and how we could use it to create web pages. We learned how to define our W: Drive as a site for the website, so that all of the files on our W: Drive could be uploaded on to Dreamweaver and used to make web pages.
We learned how to upload content to web pages and also used Dreamweaver itself to make things like tables, templates and interactive images for our web pages.
